January 2026 – an intense period!

As you will have seen in my last newsflash, I’m now deep in the Bridge House winter course.

I’m really loving the intensity of the experience, the expert tuition and my wonderful fellow-students (ten women, all amazing!). In Term 1, we studied still life, drawing, charcoal, oil and acrylic painting, printing, artists’ books, paper sculptures and much more. When Term 2 starts very soon, we’ll each be working on our own projects – the topic of mine will be rooks, and the media is likely to be paper collage and 3 D. It’s amazing to be right out of my comfort zone!
